How do I remove my personal information from the White Pages, similar websites?
Q. I noticed that my phone number and address were available for viewing on various websites online. Some have options to remove this info, but they claim to get all their info from other databases. Where can I acccess these databases and remove my info? TIA!

A. I would start with the company that is providing your local phone service. As I've found out there is a difference between unlisted and unpublished. Unlisted would keep my number out of the phone book but still available to people dialing 411 or searching. Unpublished should keep your number from appearing. Unfortunately once your information is available is on the net, chances are it has been cached so it will still be available. If you really want privacy, you might want to switch to a cell number as these numbers are usually not published and available to search engines. I would really just pressure your local phone company and get your number hidden from anyone.

who do I sue for posting personal information on search results pages?
Q. When I search on my son's name, an address pops up which contains his full address and apartment #. I have e-mailed this web address several times requesting they remove this personal information and they will not respond or remove it. What can I do to solve this problem?

ATT removed my personal web-pages without notice. What can I do?
Q. Following their instructions, I 'migrated' from Worldnet. Now, when I try to access my own webpages, I get a 'not available' message. After literally hours on the phone and in on-line help, I can't find anyone who even knows what's going on, let alone able to help. Anyone else have this problem? Any suggestions?

A. Ohhh NOOO!!! I loved your pages! I often used them as a reference here in Y/A. Links to articles on your web pages are attached to a number of my answers here. I hope that this is some kind of glitch and can be resolved! I hope you have the material saved elsewhere! And I certainly hope it does not reflect anything nefarious (antisemitic cyber attack because you explain Judaism and refute false claims about Tanakh) All I can suggest is to write them through snail mail if telephone help hasn't worked.
